Byron Slaughter
Byron began his auctioneer career in the 1970's, working Merchandise Auctions in Northwest GA. Knowing it would be his lifelong passion, he attended Missouri Auction School in 1980. Byron spent over a decade in the Auto Auction industry and moved his experience to Real Estate. Owning and operating Real Estate and Auction companies since 1993, Byron raised his two sons in the industry. In 1994, he opened North Georgia School of Auctioneering where he taught hundreds of Auctioneers the laws and ethics to the business. After nearly 50 years of experience in Auctions, Byron says the people he meets and the excitement of Sale Day are his favorite parts of the industry.
Tyler Slaughter
Tyler is a third generation Auctioneer that attended North Georgia School of Auctioneering in 2010. Raised in the Real Estate Auction industry, he quickly became involved in other Auctions including Auto, Equipment, Merchandise, Benefit, and Decor. In between Auctions, Tyler worked towards obtaining a degree in Business Administration from the University of West GA in 2015. Tyler spent three years selling Real Estate in Port St Joe, FL expanding his knowledge in coordinating transactions to a closing table. Well equipped in sales, marketing, and communication, Tyler says the most important thing in business is honesty and a smile.
